If you had a 1934 Goudey PSA 6/7 Full set, would you sell it together or break it up to sell. Also, would you go Ebay, or use an auction co...PLease advise !!!

Default Question About Selling?

I'd sell it individually on ebay if you have the time and energy to do the listings and shipping and money collecting yourself. It also depends if you have good ebay track record. I would suggest at least 300 pos. feedback with no negs..otherwise people will be wary. But if you don't have the time or energy, consign it with Mastro, Goodwin, Memory Lane (all about the same for this issue IMO).

If you know the pricing well, you could try to sell them to individuals first..and save on ebay fees or consignment fees (you won't pay a seller's fee, but you don't get the buyer's premium)
I need about 30 cards in PSA 6 or better so maybe we can help each other if you are comfortable with pricing....cmoking@yahoo.com

If you want to maximize your take, break it up and go to eBay. Better yet, try and sell some of the individual cards off-eBay and sell the rest on-eBay.

Of course, this approach will also maximize your hassles in terms of shipping, returns, collections, etc.

Default Question About Selling?

You have a ton of options at your disposal. If you have a scanner and a lot of time, you can do it yourself on eBay. It takes a great deal of time to post an item to eBay. Even with our system, it takes roughly 30 minutes to post one item. You can use something like turbo-lister which will reduce your time, but even so, scanning is going to be a big problem (as far as time goes). Auction houses are a way to go, but remember you're losing out to BP. If you would like some help i'd be happy to talk with you about your paticular situation. My work addy is tgolden@itailers.com Our website has some info as well.
