I've always wondered what if there were a T205 wagner, a 1952 topps Dimaggio, a '34 goudey Ruth, etc. What card not in existence would be on the top of your wantlists?

T202 Jackson swings Black Betsy(centerpanel) Wagner/Cobb would be the ultimate.

I have a complete T205 set, although it is just the 208 card basic set. It is indeed missing the Wagner, but I would love to see the Shoeless Joe Rookie Card...

There is a 1934 World Wide Gum Ruth - it looks like like this.

Personally, I would have loved a Diamond Stars Ruth.

This is my choice hands down. I would sure love to have this one. If anyone has the T206 Wagner I'll take that one too:)

Hugh Daily old judge card would be my top choice

A card of Jack Martin, maybe a t207.He lived in the same town i grew up in and the place i work at is on the corner of the street named after him.

On a different note,i was thinking how common the name Hugh was[Duffy,Jennings,Critz,Daily etc] but since 1950 only one person has played in the majors with the first name Hugh[Yancy],and he only played 7 games over 3 seasons during a 5 year stretch in the early 70s

With 5 games in 1908 and 1909, 20 in 1910 and 147 in 1911, I would have liked to see the following five cards of "Shoeless" Joe Jackson in the T206 set:

Joe Jackson (Batting)
Joe Jackson (Fielding)
Joe Jackson (Shoes On)
Joe Jackson (Shoes Off)
Joe Jackson (Portrait, Cleveland)

Then, of course, there were those three rare variations that would have driven collectors wild...

Joe Jackson (Portrait, Phila, Amer.) (rare variation)
oe ackson (Missing both "J's") (rare variation)
Joe Jacksen (misspelling) (rare variation)

How 'bout a T231 Fans Cigarette Ruth...

Speaking of T231s, the Old Cardboard page on Fans cards has a link for searching on T231s on E-bay - Leon, it that how you found yours?

A 1953 Stahl Meyer Ted Williams. Unfortunately it wouldn't fit in the all New York set, so 1953 Stahl Meyer Jackie Robinson

A nice Babe Ruth 1914 Cracker Jack rookie card. But then everybody would be calling his 1915 a rookie card too because the 1914 is too hard to find.

I would have liked more HOF'er cards including guys already retired.

Hugh Duffy, Cap Anson, Cy Young, Shoeless Joe, Honus Wagner, Rube Waddell, Vic Willis, etc... Well you get the idea anyways.

Granted, I am glad there is not a Wagner in the set but it would be great. Other T-205s I would love to see...

Hans Wagner
Joe Jackson
Sam Crawford
Willie Keeler
Grover Alexander
Eddie Plank
Joe Wood
Duffy Lewis
Jack Coombs

i am glad many of these are not in the set but I think it would be great...

At the risk of enlarging his already formidable head size, I like the way John Dreker thinks. An N172 of old One Arm Daily would be a classic.

Here's a few more:

N172 Old Judge
Charles Jones (and if they could have hung on for one more year Joe Start and Will White)

N300 Mayo
Nig Cuppy, Bill Lange, Jake Stenzel, Jack Stivetts

the chance and evers are really nice portrait cards; too bad the tinker is an "action" pose.

A Wagner portrait in every T and E card that lacks one.

A nice Jackson portrait in T and E formats.

Multiplayer T206 cards: perhaps teammates in horizontally formatted portraits?

Also: 1952 Topps Stan Musial, Ted Williams, Satchel Paige; 1953 Bowman Hank Aaron, Ted Williams, Satchel Paige, Jackie Robinson; 1955 Topps Musial.

How about team cards from 1952-1955 for Topps?

How about multiplayer, action and team Exhibit cards from the 1920's?

A Dimaggio/Williams card from the Play Ball series?

A Williams/Mantle card from the 1950's Topps series?

A Ruth/Gehrig card from one of the 1930's issues?

1954-1955-1956-1957 Topps Stengel

T207 of Giants "pitcher" Charles Victory Faust. He would have been a perfect fit for that set.

The Mayo set would have been even more killer if it included some of the great stars early in their careers. Cy Young, Keeler, Mcgraw are the ones that immediately come to mind...

...most beautiful card of the 20th century: Paige, Robinson, Williams--year too early for Aaron.

EVERY T202 collector wishes that CONNIE MACK had come out to shake hands with McGraw, 10 TIMES!--instead of a coach named Davis...

A nice T205 Jackson would be great...just look at his E270 Colgans a year later! (if you can find a picture of one, even...)

I've always thought a 1951 Bowman Joe DiMaggio would be nice, with a shot of him stretching to catch a fly in the outfield.

I'd also like to see Type 3 Coupon Cigarette cards of Ruth, Hornsby, Sisler, and Alexander. They were issued in 1919 and look just like T206s, so I think these cards would've been cool. I don't think Coupon added any new players for its 1919 set, but it still seems neat.

And how about all those missing 1941 Play Balls -- like Hal Newhouser and Early Wynn rookies, an early card of Feller, a final card of Grove, Gabby Hartnett with the Giants. And also a 1939 Play Ball Gehrig. And a 38 Goudey Gehrig.

Also nice would be E107s and Fan Craze cards of Jesse Burkett and Frank Selee. Or, really stretching things, Louis Sockalexis.

And how about N162s of almost everyone -- Delahanty, Clarkson, Ward, Ewing, Connor, O'Rourke, Welch, Radbourn, etc.

Two cards that were issued, but probably don't exist, that would be nice to find are the W600s of Burkett and Branch Rickey (as a player).

But what I'd like to see most of all is an N28 Bid McPhee. Then I could actually find and afford a McPhee card.

I have to stick to the T202 set:

Eddie Plank (Why no Eddie in set?) pitching center panel with Lajoie/Jackson end panel. (End panels must be teammates).

Grover Cleveland Alexander pitching, center panel with Honus Wagner/Max Carey end panels.

At least they didn't miss the Tinker/Evers/Chance.

Id like a card of Larry Yount, a pitcher who in 1971 hurt his arm while warming up in his first MLB appearance. He left the mound and never got to play in a big league game.

A few years ago, Milk Duds offered to put your picture on a box of their candy for a small fee. I wonder what the limitations were.

I know about the Topps205 cards. Interesting cards, but I woudl prefer to have a photo of him, even if it's in a team photo.

My top choice would be a 1914-15 Cracker Jack of Babae Ruth but it would be great to have 1934-36 Diamond Star cards of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Joe Dimaggio.

1938 Goudey Babe Ruth as a Dodgers coach?
