Default Anyone know if this was legit?

http://cgi.ebay.com/T-206-Ty-Cobb-Re...item43a84b0470

I emailed the guy and asked what the condition was and if he could send me a scan. This was his reply...

"It is in good to great condition. Not trimmed, no visible marks, don't have any pics of it, just trying to sell it quick for a few bucks. I have no interest in cards at this point in my life."

Stay away from it. Tipoff for me was that his grandfather left it to him after he died. Wouldn't touch it.

It seemed fishy to me. I might have taken a chance if it had stayed around $100, just to see.

It would take all but 2 minutes to make a scan. What a bunch of crap. And he is clean as far as ebay is concerned cause it is "unknown".

I figured someone would have already posted this, but I didn't see it so I thought I would bring it up. I just found it odd he wouldn't send me a scan. Hmmmm....

This pretty much sums it up. I'd say 90% of the time "grandpa" collected reprints/altered cards.
