Between being black and white and having two players they aren't terribly popular, but that's a nice group, the Ted and Joe D images I particularly like.

Isn't that the favorite player on his favorite card, to Bob Feller's right, of Peanut's Charley Brown? I think I remember his first name was Joe.

Hey Todd,

I loved reading your blog on the 1941 Double Play cards. What a great way to document the acquisition of a set. Well done.

Best regards,

Joe

Let the record show that the OP asked for some "love" for 41 DPs, not brutally honest opinions.

Default I'm all about some love

I'm working on a mid grade set. Here's some that aren't the biggest names, but go well with my Williams and Dimaggio.

Default Double Play Double HOF

Here are the 7 Double Play cards that feature two Hall of Fame players. Being the type of person that I am, I just couldn't stand the fact that they had to share the same card, so I made sure that the ones in my collection were cards that were separated into two, but could be forced back into unity when the time came for the Two Hall of Famer team scan.

Thanks for re-arranging the cardsaver scan. It was bugging me. And my Double Play (and a few other intruders) from the last collection. I kind of like some of the DPs but overall the set isn't very pretty otherwise. (imo)

I couldn't stand it either. Thumbs down to all poorly arranged Card Saver scans! And to the cretins who post them in the first place, pfffsttt!
