Default All Star Game CMOH Ceremony

Was blown away by the Congressional Medal of Honor Ceremony before the All Star game. One of them is a local to me gentleman. Micheal Fitzmaurice grew up here and I hung out with his younger brother for 30+ years until his death a couple years ago.

I was lucky enough to meet Mike several times. He has a statue here at out War Memorial.

Here is a link to his CMOH page and a link to the All Star game ceremony.http://www.cmohs.org/recipient-detai...chael-john.php

Here are a few pics of the memorial/his statue just a few blocks from my house.

I missed the ceremony, but heard about it. Terrific move by the MLB. Roberts was apparently big on the players showing their respects to these heroes.
