Default Topps Factory Set Experts - In late 80's & early 90's did Topps seal w/ plain tape?

I have a bunch of Topps factory sets. In regards to 1989, 1990, 1991, 1993, and 1995....did Tops seal with plain, clear tape?

In 1994, they used tape with "Topps Factory Seal" printed on the tape. Were all 1994 sets like this or were some totally enveloped in cellophane?

In 1992, I have one that has plain clear tape on the front flap AND totally enveloped in cellophane. I thought that was interesting.

I am asking this because I am wanting my run of factory sets to be "factory sealed".

Around here the colorful boxed sets had the cellophane and the white boxes had the tape.

My situation is mixed

1986 color box cello
1987 color box cello
1988 color box cello
1989 white box tape
1990 color box tape
1991 white box tape
1992 color box both cello and tape underneath cello
1993 color box tape
1994 color box "Topps Factory Seal" tape
1995 white box tape

I just need to know for authenticity sake. If these are authentically sealed, I won't be tempted to spend needless money.

My only years factory sealed sets on your list are 90 and 91. Both mine are the color boxes and have cellophane wrapping with 2" wide clear tape.

All Topps factory sets from '83 through the early 90s had clear packing tape. Colorful "Christmas" sets were also wrapped in cellophane. '82 and '74 we're not taped or sealed in any way.
