Default Mission accomplished....T206 McGraw (glove) back run....w/new UZIT

Exactly 13 - T206 backs were printed on each of the Exclusive 12 subjects in the 460-only series. Displayed here is the complete run of the McGraw cards.
Call me "nuts".....or, whatever.....but, I'm having fun engaging in a long-term project to complete the back runs of the subjects in the Exclusive 12 series.
Only 11 more to go

Needless to say..... red HINDU and UZIT are the toughest cards to find in this run. And fortunately, there were no LENOX or PIEDMONT 460 (Factory #42)
cards printed in this group. Incidentally, this McGraw (glove) with UZIT is a brand new find.

Factory #30
. . .

Factory #42...................Factory #42

Tougher ones......

Back runs of all the exclusive twelve? That does sound a little ambitious, but good luck Ted.

Nice work Ted! Uzit definitely the toughest but Red Hindu is probably 4th. You may have lucked out with a couple of the toughest ones. Unless you mean tougher in the sense that you have to pay more for the Red Hindu, which is true.

Default Mission accomplished....T206 McGraw (glove) back run....w/new UZIT

Thanks guys,

I've had all 12 of these McGraw backs for several years, and I was awaiting for the UZIT card to show up.
Much to my surprise it recently did, and that completes this run.

Default Mission accomplished....T206 McGraw (glove) back run....w/new UZIT

Hi Jamie

I recently acquired a T206 collection from an long-time collector who attended Philly area shows (circa 1970's).
He had acquired this UZIT card back then; and, it was included in this collection that I purchased.

Great job Ted. Got me to thinking how many back runs of all 520+ subjects actually exist. Would love to see some type of registry or count. That would be cool. Do you think there are over 100, 200?

Hey Sean
"....does sound a little ambitious" ?

Yes it does, however I've been collecting these "dudes" ever since I posted my "Exclusive 12" theory back in Feb 2013.......
http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=163949

I'm already at least 1/2 of the way on each of these runs for the remaining 11 subjects in the Exclusive 12 series. My Russ
Ford run being ahead of the pack with 10 (or 11) different T206 backs.

Hi Bryan

In what order did I get these 13 cards....interesting that you should ask. So, here is their history............

The AMERICAN BEAUTY, PIEDMONT, and SOVEREIGN were acquired back in 2006 when I was working on
their respective "all same brand" sets.

The SC #30 card is from my all-SWEET CAP Factory 30 set. The two SC Factory #42 cards from auctions.

I got the EPDG, PB, and TOLSTOI at the Philly shows (circa 2008).

The CYCLE card at the 2014 National (it's trimmed, needs to be replaced).

The OLD MILL (real tough find for Exclusive 12) is from a T206 find in the Northwest a couple of years ago.

In the process of acquiring the Exclusive 12 guys with red HINDU backs (circa 2013-2014), I traded for the
McGraw (looking to upgrade this card).

The UZIT is from a collection of T206's which I recently acquired.

Thanks Robert

From my experience collecting T206's for 37 years, I figure there are approx. 5200 front/ back permutations.

I'm not sure, though, if that's what you are asking ?

Default Mission (near) accomplished....T206 Russ Ford back run......

Russ Ford is another Exclusive 12 subject. He is not a "household name" in Baseball, but he holds a pitching record that
I think has never been equalled. Most games WON in a his rookie season (26-6). Furthermore, a total of 48 games won
in his first two seasons. Check-it-out guys....I may be wrong in this fact, so I leave it up to you to correct me.

Hey guys,
I need these two backs to complete my Ford run. I'd appreciate any help that you can offer..... Thanks.

Thanks Leon.

It's a project in progress.

Total run......12 subjects x 13 backs = 156 cards. To date, I have 107 of these cards.

McGraw is complete (13 cards)
Ford (11 cards)
Crandall (10 cards)
Devore (9 cards)
Duffy, Gandil, Geyer, Hummel, Pfeffer, Sheckard, Tannehill, Wheat (8 each)

Exclusive 12 subjects

Default The Exclusive 12 "run" advances (now have 122 cards of 156 to complete)

Six of the Exclusive 12 guys are rookie cards. Rube Geyer is one of these rookies who started pitching for the St Louis Cardinals. in 1910.

.
.

.

I still need these 3 backs to complete this run......

. .

These 3 backs are the toughest with the Exclusive 12 subjects. I'd really appreciate anyone's help in finding Geyer with any of these backs.

Note....
I really don't have any high hopes of completing the UZIT run in this project. I may have to be content just having McGraw.

A Net54 "reader" ** emailed me regarding the 6 rookie cards in the Exclusive 12 group that I noted in a prior post here. More precisely, there are
actually 5 rookie cards.

I included the card of Francis "Big Jeff" Pfeffer (1905-1908, 1910-1911) as the 6th rookie. I confused him Jeff Pfeffer, whose career started in 1911.

** Note....
I don't care for the term "lurker" (it's not a nice description of guys who read, but do not post on Net54). So, I have refined it to "reader".
