Default What is on the back of this T206?

I would appreciate any comments on what is printed on the back of this Elberfeld card and theories as to how it may have gotten there. I have been thinking the image dates from the production era but really don't know.

The text clearly says "Carrigan Boston" but I don't know if the image(s) is of Carrigan.

Thank you. Kell

The bottom left diagonal font looks Japanese.

Could be the rub of one of those German transparency stamps. The image on this sheet is different but everything else matches up:

I think it's mirrored Hirigana.

Thanks everyone for helping me solve this. I kept searching for Carrigan stamp in my research but never found anything. I thought someone on net54 might recognize the image and I was right. It took about 20 minutes. Definitely some form of those German stamps, looks like the 1909-1910 stamps someone applied.

Carrigan Boston...Done Deal

Actually, upon closer inspection, I believe it could be more than one, Carrigan +

Behind and beneath "Subjects" the beginning of Carrigan Boston is clearly visible. A mirror image is visible over the "ont" of Piedmont.
