Default T206 Wright and Lee Tannehill

Ted (or anyone)

Do you have any good white-background images of the T206 Wright and Lee Tannehill cards? I'm got enough info now to put up pages with stories for each card - just need a good scan of each.

I apologize for the tardiness of the Plank page - I ruffled a few feathers trying to include everyone's theories, and decided to revise it. As often happens in such cases, it's now gathering dust while I decide how to re-phrase/revise things so that everyone is happy, or at least only minimally perturbed.

Thanks to those who sent Tannehill and Wright images.

The Wright page is up - not sure who owns the W600, but I think it's Max Weder. Max - are you out there?

Thanks, Chris - I could have made it bigger, but really no need. Thanks for those scans. Also, thanks Max - I'll add a 'courtesy of' note beneath the SL scan. Almost all of this stuff came from posts here.

I'm thinking Clymer and Camnitz after Tannehill.

Nice find Scott. I'm trying to figure out who is depicted in the baseball-reference "Gene Wright"

Images of the actual Lucky Wright can be found in:
"Baseball in Columbus", p. 47
"The Texas League - 1888-1887", p. 24
"VCBC" #33, p. 49 (I don't have that issue - if anyone wants to post a scan)

Mark, I didn't actually find any of this. Generally, someone brings something to my attention, supplying the text, and I just clean it up and publish.

I'm quite a bit behind the schedule I had set for myself, so now just picking the low-hanging fruit.

I have all the VCBC issues, so I'll scan that one later today. Thanks!

Default Any Gene Wright will do

The baseball-reference Gene Wright is from a Chicago Daily News photo labeled as Gene Wright, University of Chicago (thanks to my friend Matt for finding this one).

As for Lucky Wright, let me add that for the 3 references I posted above -
- VCBC is probably that same T206 of Gene Wright
- The other 2 are in the SABR encyclopedia but are suspect (thanks to TNFOTO for the info)

Here is the guy identified as Lucky Wright in the 1903 Decatur team photo. Maybe that's him.
