Default California Tobacco Rush – 1910 T206 Collection From Original Owner’s Family

I wanted to share that we recently purchased a collection of nearly 300 tobacco cards that have been in the family of the original gentleman who collected them back in the early 1900's. There are about 250 T206's with many HOFers including Ty Cobb, Southern Leaguers, and a really interesting Cy Young Portrait-check out our blog and video about the collection:

On another note, HUGE U.S. win today in the World Cup!

Regards,
Leighton

Nice collection there with a very unique Young card. I like seeing these old time collections come to light.

That is one funky miscut.

It should generate a lot of interest, especially from the T206ers from this crowd.

A simple look on Ebay finds a similar yet, ridiculously over priced example of a Young portrait miss cut.

Nice pick up Leighton. I am looking forward to getting together at the National as usual. What is this...around 12-13 yrs we have been carousing together there? I remember our first meeting vividly....

That's a really nice collection of cards. The Cy Young miscut will definitely draw attention if it's sold at auction.
