Default What is your autograph want list?

What are you looking for? A single player? Certain cards? Single signed HOF balls?

Hopefully posting what you are looking for in this thread will help you find some of what you are looking for.

I am trying to complete runs of Willie Stargell and "Indian" Bob Johnson. Only cards produced during their careers. Would love to hear if anyone has anything that I need.

Any 1953 Topps I still need, currently 103. I'm looking to focus on the tougher cards (mostly the guys who died in the 1960s, '70s and early '80s). I have a full wantlist that I keep meaning to post in the BST.

Default 1978 Yankees

About a year or so ago I started collecting single signed balls of players on the 1978 Yankees roster. I don' tknow if I'll ever complete it due to the Munson. But I have 18 so far, plus Bob Lemon.

I know some of these are readily available, but these are the ones I need:

Don Gullet, Ken Holtzman, Catfish Hunter, Bob Kammeyer, Paul Lindblad, Larry McCall, Andy Messersmith, Dave Rajsich, Dick Tidrow

Fran Healy, Thurman Munson, Cliff Johnson

Damaso Garcia, Mickey Klutts, Graig Nettles, Domingo Ramos, Dennis Sherrill (don't remember him at all!), Jim Spencer, George Zeber

Dell Alston, Reggie Jackson, Gary Thomasson

I would also like Billy Martin and coach Yogi Berra.
(Note: I also started collecting signed balls of Yankees managers, so these two would do double duty.)

I also have a 1978 World Series ball signed by Bob Lemon, Jim "Catfish" Hunter, Goose Gossage, Willie Randolph, Jim Spencer, Roy White, Sparky Lyle, Mickey Rivers, Paul Blair and Chris Chambliss.

Two tough Oakland A's:

Steve Hovley
Gonzalo Marquez on a flat (3x5 or A's photo)

Unfortunately I can't afford to pay what most people want when they come up.

Always on the lookout for Tony C autos and so far have 7 or 8 Chicago Black Sox team members. The next one, in my price range anyway, will most likely be a Gandil or a Cicotte.

I'm looking for an autographed ball with Roberto Clemente on it. Can't afford a single signed so a multi signed is great with me as long as the Clemente us clear and not too interfered with by other signatures.
Anyone with one or a good lead on one would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Drew

I've been looking for game-used line-up cards signed by managers who are in the Hall, or who are significant figures in baseball history. Preference is for the top page, not one of the carbon copies.

A ton of big names managed at one point in time, but some of the names I'd particularly like to pick up:

Connie Mack
Ty Cobb
Rogers Hornsby
Tris Speaker
Ted Williams
Casey Stengel

You get the idea...

Also would love to pick up a 1947 Dodgers baseball...

I need two cards to round out my 2016 want list. Started with 10 and knocked off the first 8. Last two should come easy and then I'll start on 2017. I'll be gunning for the following:

1. Any Play Ball signed DiMaggio
2. 1953 Bowman Color or 1956 Topps Mantle
3. 1955 Topps Koufax

If I knock out 2 of the three I'd be happy.

Consider going to a dealer that calls himself "The Man of Steal" (MOS Sports I believe) to source your Henderson ball.
He worked exclusively with Ricky Henderson on signed items for many years. In my humble opinion, he is the go to guy for the item that you are looking for. He could steer you in the right direction if he doesn't have the ball you are looking for.

Thank you Scott! There's surprisingly few balls that come up with this inscription. Have seen some SteinerSports of course, but they want like hundreds. If I can get Aaron for $100, I'm not gonna spend $399 for Ricky.

Thank you sir!

Just a heads up that there are 3 different T-206 Marquard cards
being sold in one lot in the August Heritage Catalog Auction.

Pre War -
Anything by Jimmy Lavender.
Married into the family and I collect him.

And I collect deceased, signed cards.

But Lavender above all.

Any player's autograph I do not have yet in any sport. And any of the cast of all the Star Wars movies I do not have yet.

as a collector of all things Rube Waddell I have a dream of stumbling upon one of his extremely rare autographs at a flea market or yard sale.

Yes I know there's a better chance of me winning powerball! (but at least then I could afford to just pay full price for one!) :-p

Always looking for additional Ray Miller (my avatar) pieces. Also Bennie Berris (another cousin who fought; pic below)

Signed boxing exhibit cards, esp. heavyweight champions.
