Default This Joe D legit?

Looking for thoughts on if this ball is legit.
I do have a LOA, but would rather hear what you folks think before I post that.
I have no reason to believe otherwise, but some of you guys deal with autos daily. I don't.

What you think?

This is bad. The shakiness of the signature should be a tell tale sign, but there are many other signs reading stay far away.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I would not buy it. With the amount of nice Joe D autos out there, I would look for something better and think others would think the same

This has all the makings of a gotya thread, but I'll bite.

The j is slow and wobbly, the oe looks terrible. There is slow wobbly hesitance throughout DiMaggio... Does not have natural flow or signs of confidence.

I wouldn't buy it for $5.

So who is the COA from?

I have seen this style signature a few times before; but it is not one of the kind that I am comfortable with.
However, that being said, the one I saw before had a well known authentication company letter with it.

In not a DiMaggio expert. I'll start with that.

That said, when I first looked at this I thought that the overall formation looked ok but that individual letters look either slow or misshaped. I figured he was either drunk or very tired or in the last month's of his life. It may be good, but there are SSSSOOOOO many better examples that can be had for not a lot of money.

You would get more opinions if you did not post this as a gotcha type thread.
Post the ball with the COA.
This "gamesmanship" is not going to earn you any friends.
People here do not hesitate to criticize the TPA's, the good ones or the shady ones.

Not a "gotcha" thread, though I really don't know what that means.
And didn't mean to show any "gamesmanship".
Just wanted opinons on it.

COA - Ken Goldin - Scoreboard.

Now, you see why I didn't just throw that out there.

There is absolutely nothing in his original post that reads this way.

Scoreboard certs, unfortunately, are pieces of paper that can easily be put with another ball.

Also, post a pic of the cert, Ken is usually excellent at spotting the fake certs.

Steve,
What I meant is that posting an autograph and saying I have a COA but I won't show it now is not the way to go about things here.
As I said, post the autograph, post the COA. Then ask for opinions.
There is no good reason not to post the COA with the autograph.
And Ken is 100% correct, Scoreboard COA's are probably the most faked COA in the hobby.

the o in Joe is Putrid. That's my first sign that the ball is dreck. I hate that o and it represents a forgery 99 outta 100, IMHO. When you see an o like that. run like rabbit with thorn in paw. Looks like I'm down to only 7 Mint Dimaggio balls. Not bad for a non collector

Here are a couple of examples of some non effed up "o"s... DiMaggio's with scoreboard certs for your comparison. Good luck

forgetting about the COA's, the signature itself is awful. The "gg" lower parts are way off, and there is no flow to the signature.

Thanks. That is what I was looking for. Appreciated.

EDIT: I did not post the coa because I didn't want this to become a Ken Goldin attack thread. I just wanted to know what you guys thought. Sorry to create a "showmanship" thread.

Just asking.

My wife bought me this over ten years ago on SHOP AT HOME, from Kenny and Don West. I was just checking on it. It is in my collection and was just wondering.

If you told us that you bought it from shop at home. Everyone on here that knows about them would have told you bad at the very start.
They sold more junk than you could imagine.
