Four HOFers played for the Royals. One (Brett) for 21 years. The other three (Cepeda, Killebrew, Gaylord Perry) for one year each.

The Mets had 5 HOFers play their final season in NY, Richie Ashburn, Gil Hodges, Warren Spahn, Yogi Berra and Willie Mays

Jerry Rice with the Denver Broncos. (I do not think he ever played a regular season game with the Broncos, just pre-season.)
