Default PSA Grading.... Verrrry Slow

I have been waiting over 3 months for cards I sent for grading at $25.00 each.
They say 60-65 days. Is this ridiculously slow?

The business days are what gets you. With their new interface, my estimated completion date has now switched twice. That said, I sent in two cards at the $75 dollar level, one took a week, the other 10 days, however the 40 card bulk order I sent in has an estimate completion date of April 4th.

You have to be patient unfortunately.

Few months back i sent a few cards out...they ain't kidding when they say 65 days!....cards arrived to PSA within 2-3 days...got all the way to the "grading" stage within the first 10 days or so....of course i thought with them in the grading stage so quick that id have them back within a few weeks.....nope!...they never moved again until literally the 65th day. they sat in the "grading" stage for 2 months before any updates again.

I’ve been getting my bulk orders back in in 45 days or less but I go through a submitter who sends in tons per day so maybe that is why

The turnaround times will always be inconsistent, as volumes of orders are lumpy.

My feeling is the transparency on order status could be improved. I've waited a month after a FedEx tracking status showed signed by PSA, to "In Progress" in My Orders. I would rather see a new order status category added before "In Progress":

1) Received

and then split "In Progress" into:

2) In Progress (in que)
3) In Progress (grading)

I think this would help ease some concern and set better expectations. Might also cut down on customer service follow-up calls to PSA.

There’s probably about 20 businesses days a month. Who knows how much time they took off for the holidays. So you seem to be on track still. This is still much better than the pandemic peak. There was no estimate of time, you got it when you got it. Try COMC shipping on large orders. That is loooooong.

I tried PSA for the first time (I regret it) with a two-card 65 day submission which arrived at PSA in mid August.

"Order Prep" started on September 5th and it is currently in "Assembly."

They did provide an "Estimated Completion Date" of December 7th. Obviously that date has come and gone.

The service times don't improve much even when they force you to use the $150 Express or $300 Super Express service for valuable cards. Whether the estimate is 3, 5, 10, 20, or 65 days, they generally take much longer and stop providing updates after the interminable "Assembly" phase.

I've been waiting for almost 5 months on a 25 card bulk submission (they entered order August 30th)... I have 5-6 orders out there with them.

I've also submitted (5) orders of 100+ cards to SGC and they will typically have those back within 4 weeks (and these are complex issues, cards with lots of research on their end)...SGC ROCKS!!!

I sailed past the 65 day mark 10 business days ago, so now I get to get a whopping spoonful of "how patient can you be tough guy?" after preaching it before. The estimated turn time was the 16th, 65 business days was the 8th, so we are blazing a path nowhere fast and still in grading.

Crazy. I sent in stuff from the holiday specials and have gotten 2 or 3 orders back so far that I sent in during mid December. Last one is grading already too. Speedy but got destroyed on my grades…

I have two orders of 10 tickets each at PSA from Nov and Dec. I won't see them back til April and May.

I sent cards to SGC and they come back after two weeks easily.

I truly wish SGC expand their business to do tickets too.
