Default T-205 Huh?

Posted By: J Levine

Not to take anything away from a fellow board member but this is unreal...

This is a common card (truly common) with the most common back in poor condition. The auction is not misleading at all either. It should really go for no more than $10. Oldoriole, congrats on selling a common t-205 for more than the Duffy you had!

Sometimes I just do not understand ebay buyers.

this appears to be the t crossed variation which is slightly more valuable than a common. maybe it's rarer than we think?!?!?!?!??

Default T-205 Huh?

There appears to be an equal split on the crossed t and non-crossed t variations in the T205 set so I'd consider it only slightly more valuable than a common, if that. This isn't a similar situation to the stats and no stats Gray or Moran or the Latham variations, which do bring more.
Sometimes it just makes you scratch your head. Why can't these guys stumble on to my cards for sale

Default T-205 Huh?

maybe they are paying a premium for the almost nonexistant staining. My PB 205s always seemed to have worse stainging than the 206s I owned.

Actually, in my research, the not crossed "t" is rarer. In fact, I have only seen the not crossed come with Piedmont 25 backs where the crossed "t" comes with at least Piedmont 25, Polar Bear, Honest Long Cut, and Hassan 649. This is not a rare card! It is one of the most common ones in the whole set. I just wonder why people can't seem to bid my t-205s up like this.
