I almost did but backed off. No good, correct? Even though you can see a tiny little bit of the S?

Absolutely no good and I don't see any of the S

You should see most of the right side of the S

F. Me too. And not a bad price. I just wasn't 100% certain. I think it flew under the radar...

I think you are correct, I didn't see it. With no date in the title, my searches will never find it!

I hate ebay removing the pre-1930 category

I wasn't 100% sure on it and doubted it would get slabbed. Pulled the snipe, might have been a bad call.

Chris, unless you were going to re-sell it, I don't think it was a bad call. It's an ugly card and there are plenty of cards in the set that are missing parts of letters. A long time ago some one made a big deal out of nothing, and collectors are still lapping it up.

Chris - That nodgrass was owned at one point by another board member (not me) and it was discussed last year in the following thread.

http://net54baseball.com/showthread....=t206+nodgrass

Nice pickup. I considered bidding, but I'm trying to 'focus'.

Thanks guys, these "errors" dont really interest me...figured if it went under the radar it would be a good flipper. Within a few hours it was @ $25 so several people were on it.

After seeing the thread on it I'm sure it's good. Congrats to whomever won it.
