Boston Braves pin question

Hi-
I recently acquired the Boston Braves pin scanned below and I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with the following questions:
1. Who made it?
2. How old is it?
3. Is it part of a set where there is one per team? I got this from a flea market dealer who said he had about 50 more (7 or 8 different teams) in a can at home.
4. Value? That is, besides the 5.00 in nonsports cards in trade I gave to get this pin.
5. Any other information would be greatly appreciated.
