Default Dutch Revelle grows an orange ear?

Scan for current auction. You may need to enlarge. Just poor registration--though rest of card look okay, oddly--or something else? Seller is claiming card may be "under graded" --or the opposite?

Me too. I could even see it grading a 5.5.

Glowing orange ear that doesn't show up in other scans doesn't bother anyone then?

The glowing orange ear is from a slight green print offset. Not saying it should be glowing orange like that. Guessing that is from the scanner settings.

I'm actually the consignor. the "orange" near the ear, is simply some yellow peaking thru from the grass, there's an ever so slight green color shift (yellow & blue make green)...FYI, the back is extremely dark & bold, i got it because i collect rare backs, and this was an excellent SL OM for my back run. i've since acquired a different SL OM example, so was able to sell this one. It's a really good looking example, i think it should easily be be in a PSA 5.5 holder, (maybe even a 6 on a good day?)...

Thanks, based on your (consignor's) post I bid and actually just won it, at lower price than expected...

Ah, sorry about that. Who knows, maybe the "orange ear" did scare off a few people, tho consensus here was that it was no factor at all and card might indeed be worth a 5.5, so I plunged ahead....
