Default O/T: Bing Crosby 1960 World Series Film find.

Forgive the O/T but I'm not sure if everyone was aware of the find of the entire broadcast of the 1960 World Series game 7 somewhat recently in Crosby's winecellar. Neat article about it on ESPN.com today. I look forward to seeing the actual event and not just still photos and radio broadcasts.

Edited to add...See other thread on this subject as I was unaware it was already being dicussed as it had already been buried by the time I checked the forum today.

This would be a nice Christmas present for any Pirate fan. No, I am not soliciting. I plan on working this angle with my family.

The single-most depressing day of my youth (having just turned 11 years old). When Mazeroski appeared at the Chantilly show a few years back, I was inclined to tell him but couldn't justify $ 30 for the autograph.

The single greatest day of my youth. I was 15 years old and I got to stay home from school and watch the game on TV with my dad. Having been a Pirate fan through their misreable seasons 1950-1959 this was unbelievable. I attended the 50th reunion in Pittsburgh earlier this year and got to say thanks in person. I can't wait to relive it again.
