Default Boston or New York Baseball Card Shops

I will be in Boston and NYC this week and will also be traveling through Conneticut and Rhode Island. Anyone have know of any good baseball card shops to hit along the way? I found a thread a few months back on them, but there weren't any in Boston or New York. New York can't be Brookyn or Long Island.

Default Shop in New York

I had an off day in NYC a couple weeks ago and found this place:

Alex's MVP Cards
256 East 89th Street
New York, NY 10128-4324
(212) 831-2273

I was staying at the Grand Hyatt (Grand Central Station) and this place was about a $12 cab ride.

Nice guy and he actually had some older stuff, but no tobacco. He said he has more stuff at home and if you call ahead maybe he can bring it in.

I bought a few '55 Topps All-American football cards and some cards for some oddball sets I'm doing - '64 Topps giants, Topps deckle, etc. Also snagged a fantastic Ted Williams store model bat from the '50s.

Alex's is a couple blocks from my apartment and I take my boys there all the time to pick up packs of cards. It used to be across the street and much bigger but still has a few interesting things but mostly cards from the 50s to the present (comic books too). The owners are very nice, helpful people as well.

Kenmore Collectibles is right near Fenway Park in Boston, and does has some vintage material. Like most shops now, it's not an awesome shop but is decent, but might be the best Boston has to offer these days...

Another vote for Alex & Co. Alex, Steph, Ralph, all nice people. Am just across the avenue from them and have done a lot a business with them. Always a pleasure.

Default Kenmore Collectibles

Kenmore Collectibles has a nice selection of coins, cards, and packs. They have alittle bit of everything and are super nice to deal with. There is a fellow on Broomfield Street as well. He is hit or miss.....
