Default 1908 Baseball Postcard - Jenny Craig?

Don't know if he would still hold the record? A few pushups and a couple of windsprints might possibly have helped? Postmarked July 1908...

At least they didn't try to say it was Babe Ruth.

I found another member for his team!

At 675 he was apparently a warranty nightmare as the company would replace broken frames for free. Although it seems they got some publicity from the deal.

It was briefly popular to have what can only be described as .........Hmm, how to make it less offensive?..................Bike races where all the competitors were quite large. The crowds found it amusing.

Leons card makes me wonder if they had similar baseball games.

Ever hear of the Fats vs. Leans out of Kalamazoo Michigan? Here is my ribbon attributed to an 1875 game.

I cannot post large enough screen shots to view of the book review but check out the below link about the "Fats vs. Leans" and "Never Sweats" clubs. Sounds like a fun time

I don't resent this thread, only resemble the photos.

Thanks Leon
