Default Colgan's Chips Tins

Curious as to whether anyone has been able to determine which Colgan's Chips containers/tins came with the three different Colgan's Chips sets.

I know I have seen a variety of different tins over the years.

I have these 2, but I don't really know anything about them. Here is a prior thread with a little info...

Default Speaking of E254s

I also noticed that Syd Smith has two variations in the E254 set.

One for Atlanta and one for Buffalo. As far as I can determine, he never played for Buffalo, however, Heinie Smith was on the team. Guessing another case of wrong Smith picked.

Nice Tin. Maybe Chris A. will chime in as he has almost a master set of the cards. This container and cards can probably help answer one of the questions. It came from outside of the hobby (and shown many times).

I have shown mine before it does not show the 1906 food and drug act information on it so I think it predates the card set.

I tend to agree. And I have seen many folks think the 1906 Act, on a multitude of items, think it is the mfg date which it generally isn't.
