Default Ticket stub for the First Game at Pittsburgh Three Rivers Stadium for sale

Attention all Pittsburgh Pirates fans and baseball ticket collectors:
I'm selling a NM ticket stub from the very 1st game ever at the Pittsburgh Pirates Three River Stadium on 7/16/70..

The ticket presents beautifully. Please check out the scans of the front and back of the ticket. No creases, writing anywhere to be seen. The patron that attended the game took amazing care of this ticket for it being so oversized (2 1/2" x 6 3/4").

The game featured the matchup of pitchers Dock Ellis for the Buccos vs. Gary Nolan for the Cincinnati Reds. Clay Carrol got the win for the Reds and Dock Ellis of LSD no-hit fame took the loss. (HOF) Tony Perez of the Reds hit his 30th HR of the 1970 season and the Pirates (HOF) Willie Stargell hit HR # 17. The Reds prevailed 3-2 in the matchup...

The Pirates ended up the 1970 season by winning the NL Eastern Division.

$50 delivered for the first person to say they want it.

Thanks for your interest!

Hi Scott, I have interest but am curious. The first game at Three Rivers was in July 1970 against the Cincinnati Reds. Would this ticket have been from that game?

John,
Your info is correct. I have changed my description accordingly.
Thanks for the heads up!

Ticket is still available and I reduced the price a bit. This is a great price for a terrific ticket...
I will be posting it on eBay on Sunday night.

Thanks in advance for your interest!
