Default Print Offset cards, show them if you got them

Print offset cards are some of my favorite errors. This Tris Speaker I picked up a couple years ago has the biggest offset I have seen.

Post them if you got them.

Sorry, I scanned these two together. The Downey is the only significant print offset that I own.

White beard, orange face, and I don't know what is going on with those socks! But, at least "Lefty" signed it and Jeff Burdick stamped it!

Awesome Speaker Jamie! That one is new to me.

I would post but I don't seem to have any more print offsets on the front, though I do have a number of cards with stuff on the back that ought to be on the front.

Jamie

I don't think that you'll ever forget that story of my 11-year old Grandson, Ron, telling my cousin, George....
"if he places his cup of coffee on the railing of our deck....Ron will hit the next pitch and knock the coffee cup off the deck".

And sure enough....Ron (batting lefty) drove a liner 80 feet that knocked the cup off the deck.

Jamie....here's a picture of Ron when he graduated the Univ. of Southern Maine a couple of years ago.

The Ring is a nice miscut with a slight print offset. That Bancroft looks really cool with the red and yellow like that.

Jamie, I think several of us pushed the bidding on that Speaker. Glad it went to you.

Some cards I used to own...(the Sweet Caporal offset will be in REA).

As great as some of these with a large shift are, I find the "worst" offprinted ones are the ones that are off by just a small amount as to make it fool with your eyes. That Miller Huggins posted is close, where you think perhaps you have something in your eye making it blurry, vertigo or double vision, but it is just the closeness of the offset that makes it appear that way.

I think it is related to how the brain "corrects for missing information" scenario that you learn about if you read about how print illusions work.

I agree with the ones with just a small print offset being horrible. I hate them and love the larger print offset cards.

It seems like strip cards are shifty by nature. Here is my Earle 'Greasy' Neale that slid right past register.
