Default Ruth and Gehrig

Have been the center of my collection for a while. I’ve noticed in the last 6 to 12 months how little quality stuff seems to be on the block. Sure there are always some decent Goudeys, but the supply of nice Exhibits and other rarer cards has dried up big time. Whether here on BST, PWCC, or any of the major AHs (just received a new catalog today) seems like the market has just disappeared. Few sellers at this point of the rarer stuff. And I don’t blame them. But I wish I could add some of the pieces I’m looking for. Nada on eBay.

Supply is low, but every now and then a cool item pops up. Here's one of the nicest Ruth snapshots I've seen...

That’s cool.
I bought the three Gehrig and Ruth snaps from Henry’s last eBay auction. Also nice.

Those 4 on 1s are sweet.

As to the early Gehrig and Ruth Exhibits (say 25-29), seldom see anything other than an A or a weak 10. Bought a nice 28 Gehrig off Dave (?) of Baggers at the last White Plains show. Paid strong but was happy to get it.

I picked up my 27 Ruth in a private sale. Perhaps others are doing the same to save on AH fees.

Steve, contact vintageclout. Perhaps he has a few rare Ruth cards in his treasure chest. He’s very reasonable and easy to deal with.
