Default Wanted: 1924 V122 Willard's Sports Champions (For Set) **Need 4 For Set**

Posted By: Rhett Yeakley

I picked up a grouping of these cards and am down to needing 4 cards to finish the set of 56. I have tons of duplicates (no baseball or hockey though). I need the following cards in any grade. I will be listing my duplicates later today, they will be available for trade or for sale directly to those interested...

Cards needed for set:
#31 Charles Querrie (lacrosse)
#33 Jimmy Blouin (bowling)
#36 Not sure who is pictured
#38 Ponton (sprinter)

I have been able to pick up: Harry Watson, Dunc Munro, and Suzanne Lenglen

For those unfamiliar with the series here is what they look like...

Please email me if you have any of the subjects I need. I will trade generously and will pay generously for the cards needed. Email to rhettyeakley@netzero.com

Thanks,
-Rhett

Nice Hooley Rhett glad you decided to finish the set even though you were gracious enough to sell me the Hooley. I was going to message you and say I found a Watson but you've already found one.

I'll see if I can find you a Munro.

Jason, thanks for the message. A collection sorta just fell into my lap right after I sold my Hooley to you. Being only 7 (now 5) cards away with nearly all the stars out of the way was just too hard to pass up going for the set.

I am really curious who #36 is in the set, I am yet to see the card.

I could use any assistance you can offer.

Rhett I believe #36 is Irish Cricket Player James Graham. I don't have a scan of this card though. Hope that helps a little.

What a great set ----------- covers so much.

Esp. like Strangler Lewis (kinda' scarey ),
Hoppe (classic), and
Pauncho Villa (died of throat infection -- had wisdom teeth removed, and instead of resting for a week, he went drinking and partying for a week).

Good luck with final 4 !!
