Default T206 - Print mark question

Posted By: Jantz

Below I have pictured 2 T206 backs which both have the exact player on the front, yet one has the little red half-circle on the right hand side & the other does not. Any opinions/theories as to how this occurred? I have seen other examples of this same front/back player combo and more have the red circle than those without. So far the ration is 3 with/1 without. Thanks in advance for any information.

Default T206 - Print mark question

...I believe the red circle is a part of a number that corresponds to the sheet number that this card was printed on.

Second... who is the player?
