Anyone venture to guess what is going on with this auction in the link below? Legit?

Also, another reason I am posting is to find out when (unless I have been missing it all along) ebay started the yellow stars rating system? I think I may have been living under a rock or something...

Based on the "accolades" stating "looks real" and "unless you can afford 2K for the real thing"...I'd venture to say this is a bogus auction. Maybe a stolen scan?

The yellow stars are the product rating, for all people who have purchased "1933 Goudey Babe Ruth" cards, even fake ones. Completely useless on an item like this. It's not a toaster oven or a book; just another way eBay is attempting to become like Amazon and failing.

Yup... I recently saw this on another card. Ebay just can't get out of it's own way with dumb ideas like this.

The thing I'd be worried about most is the 0 feedback in this auction but the "rating" thing is useless and done by ebay I believe, not the seller.

The comments (original looking, next best thing, etc) are just the "most relevant reviews" and not a description written by the seller. Like the other guys said, this new Amazon like review system doesn't work for products like this at all.

It was twofold....one was the seller and card and the other was the stupid star system that makes no sense whatsoever for what we do....Leave it to the bay to screw a good thing up.
