Default Brockelman & Luckey Auction Winners

Let's see some of the pickups from the Brockelman & Luckey Auctions Winter 2011 Auction.

I was able to pickup one of the few remaining 1909 Obak T212-1 catchers I have been hunting for: Carl Lewis, Oakland Oaks.

My first Brockelman & Luckey win!

Thanks guys!

I won my first card ever in a Brockelman & Luckey Auction! It was a T202 Hassan Triple Folder Wallace/Petty--A Close Play At Home--PSA 8. For just $1210 plus 12 1/2% I thought it was a good price. I bid on a 1923 AC Ruth--sgc 60 and a T201 Mathewson psa 7 but lost. Thanks to Leon who is having an impact on me to bid on rarer cards in less than PSA 8--may be the first cards I have bever bid on in an auction in less than PSA 8.

Keep it up with the high quality older cards!

Jim

Default A big thanks

Thanks to everyone that participated!

It appears the vintage card market is alive and well, several cards brought record prices and many others saw very spirited competition.

Invoices with applicable shipping and insurance will be updated and online within the next few hours.

Scott and Leon

I had some consignments that did well so I am overall happy.

If the winner of Lot #180 (Exhibit lot) is interested in selling the 1936 Exhibit 4 on 1 Pittsburgh Pirates (SGC 40), please PM or email me (kpmcma@optonline.net). Thanks!

Default B & L Winnings

I was able to procure the following:

1923 Baltimore Shirt Co. Accordian Piece

http://www.b-lauctions.com/site/bid/...etauctionid=81

and

1895 Hanover Tigers Team Cabinets

http://www.b-lauctions.com/site/bid/...etauctionid=81

Both of them I thought were at terrific prices.

Also consigned several items and was extremely pleased with the results.

I thank you guys as well. Keep up the great work!

Tom C

Default T206 Set

If the winner of lot #1 (T206 set) would consider selling the 2 Cycle 460's in this lot please let me know. I'm looking for examples for my Cycle 460 subset.

Thanks,

Jerry

I thought the T206 set went for a great price for the winning bidder. At roughly $40 per card, I wish I had the funds to have bid on it - congrats to the winner!

Was just thinking the same!

I won a small T206 lot with a few HOF'ers (couple trimmed) and the no name Kroh.

Default Got Luckey

I did win the T209-1 Pope. Still need Armstrong, Booles, and Martin to complete my Series One set. Anyone have these three/one of them they wish to sell/trade?

Cheers, Mike

Two of my "sets in progress" got a bit of a bump last night - I won the Orange Border Plank and the e90-3 color variation Dougherty. The Dougherty may be a unique specimen and there aren't exactly too many of that Plank around either!

I'm thinking I overpaid a bit but I haven't won anything in a while sooooo....

Nice on the Dougherty, I personally thought that was one of the coolest cards in the auction.

Thanks Eric!

I also meant to add that if anyone won the e90-3 Cole or Payne and you were upgrading cards that you already had, I'd be interested in buying the dupe. Thanks guys,
Brian

Default Another E98

I won the Green Background E98 Three Fingered Brown last night. #67 on my quest for the Master Set. That leaves me with only the Blue Background to go to have all four Browns. If anyone has one to sell, please let me know.
I would show a scan of it, but I am technologically incompetent and have no idea how to post a picture from the B & L site.

Scott and Leon, nice auction as usual. Some really nice stuff was obtained last night by many folks.

Bob, Just few more Imperials, can't wait to see the complete set!

I didn't win anything, but did consign a card and was pleased with the hammer price as well as the friendly customer service. This is the second auction I have consigned with them and have nothing but high praises.
Thanks again Scott and Leon.

Default Thanks

Once again, I consigned a good number of items to this great auction. Thanks to Leon and Scott the items did well, just as in the previous auction. I appreciate the format and the number of serious bidders for collector grade items. Count me in next time. (I have also won something each time, which is even more fun!) Mike

Managed to secure one victory last night and the open format saved my forgetfulness coming back from a North Shore vacation. Nice auction.

Default Bill

When I reviewed the auction I realized the PSA 8's from 74 and 75 went for about $2 each which was great deal -- congrats on your pick up.

And, I do have a package ready for you --- it should go out in about 10 days

Default Consigments

Hi folks, I didn't win anything in this auction but I did consign a few items. I have consigned to other auction houses in the past, but the B&L service was by far the best.

1. Submitting the consignments was quick and hassle free.
2. No consignment fee.
3. Prices realized were better than expected.
4. Good communication.
5. Well run auction.
6. I had the check in my hands less than 3 weeks after the close of the auction.

Well done and thank you!

Rick
