Default PSA is really ticking me off

Posted By: warshawlaw

I just got a 1924 V137 Willard's Benny Leonard in a "6". The issue is tall and narrow. PSA put it in their typical wrinkly sleeve in an oversized holder and when the card came in the mail,it was practically sideways in the holder, with two opposite corners lodged under the "ribs" of the PSA holder. Had a hell of a time shaking it back into a reasonably straight position. ARGHHH! When are they going to figure out a way to PROPERLY holder the cards they grade??? I'm just glad the card isn't a 7 or 8, because after the rough ride the corners took, it wouldn't be now.

Off to SGC it goes ASAP.

they don't go the route that SGC or GAI does and put a individually cut insert in there. They could even use a clear one that wouldn't affect the aesthetic look to their holders. Guess the only reason is just plain LAZINESS...........couldn't be a huge cost issue as there are only a few issues that cause this. I'd bet 95% of their cards or more would/will fit into standard sized holders.

is a great guy with total customer service integrity. He cleared up my entire corss over problem and even took personal attention to the subsequent group of cards I sent in for grading. They have lots of problems based on graders who cannot identify cards that we can......but he made my situation right!

Peter is a good guy. He is really trying to make a difference at PSA. As you might imagine he has his hands full right now.

Sorry guys, I love and respect both of you but Peter was rude, treated me like a scam artist, and immediately considered me a liar from the very first phone call. Maybe it was the amount of the problem? All customers should be treated the same, I wasn't. I was lied to and told to hit the pavement. I think Peter is a joke, a nobody, and a puppet. He qualifies to work an ice cream stand. I do think it is good that your problems were handled and maybe that is hope for the future. dan.
