Looks like Dean's PSA 5 copy sold within the hour as a $40k BIN despite the $10k starting bid. Wonder if it will be relisted due to non-payment.

Possibly a buying error, since he "sold" it a week ago for 2750

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/292234362937

Hmmm, a Pete Reiser gray back PSA 5 or:

1) Buy lunch for 7,000 days at Chick-fil-A(TM)
2) Purchase 1.5 Honda Odysseys with that backup camera thingy and fold-down rear seats
3) Save right around 850 children from starvation in Nigeria, Tanzania, or Ethiopia

I suppose you might still have money enough for a PSA 5 non-gray back after any of those alternative expenditures (not sure about that).

I'm sorely tempted to try to bid on this card, but on the other hand, I don't really collect gray backs (yet) and this card really ought to go to someone trying to finish out their set.

On a related note, the one card I have not seen come up for sale is a gray back Billy Martin. Now that is one I WOULD buy.

I own zero gray backs but I'd sure love to have that one for my 52 Topps collection!

Sadly, not a chance I will be bidding, however.

Neither of those are actual gray backs.
But good for those who get taken by the flip.
