Nice card Leon! However, I don't think those two are the same player/pose.

Default stolen scan of a reprint

leon-
does posting a stolen scan of a reprint constitute a "second strike"?

kewl cards....it seems many/most newer miscut cards bring less price as opposed to the old cards which usually bring more....I used to have a lot of Topps miscuts...not sure where they went?

One of my favorites, Koufax with a hint of Clemente.
I've been looking for rest of the Clemente for quite a bit now.

rsst206 - That T215 Pirate card is amazing. Thanks for sharing!

I posted one of these in the other recent miscut thread but figured I'd share a few more.

Default QC under fire

I guess quality control at the Croft's Cocoa printing facility was either very good (if these are scraps), or very poor (if these were issued with the product).

Hi Brian,

Yes, the quality control on Crofts Cocoa E92s was not the greatest.

My feeling has always been that they were not issued with the product but handed out at the counter of one of several Montague candy stores across Philadelphia.

The fronts on all of these back miscuts are fine so my guess is that these were distributed just like any other Crofts Cocoa card was and were not scraps.

I can't imagine any kid back in the day complaining about receiving one of these because the ad on the back was miscut or upside down

Here are some Cracker Jack misprints, not miscuts. Sometimes PSA says MC, other times not. Mini Brett to include postwar guys.

Here are four miscut 78's from the same box. All miscut badly (not uncommon) but when put together obviously from the same sheet (a bit uncommon)

Default T206.....

This one is intriguing......it is running currently with Greg Bussineau. What is interesting is the grade on the card!?!?!?!? To me, the card looks incredible on the front, possibly an 8 on a good day? I understand that they have to consider the back BUT I wonder if this card was slabbed by PSA if it might be a PSA 8 (MC) which to me would be a heck of a lot better than the current 3 that it has. Any differing opinions on this?

Peace, Mike
