Default I have just seen Ty Cobb at ...........

This Recent pick up was shown in the pick up thread but not the back....I Thought members might enjoy seeing another rare glimpse of Cobb in a jovial mood...and the back is somewhat interesting as it is referring to Navin fields' inaugural season and this person seeing Cobb at the first game on the field...

Desiderata

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Strive to be happy.

Hey Leon, I think that's the same image as the La Azora Cobb panel (bottom one), which I think you also own.

Thanks...the postmark looks to be on the 22nd of April, 1912 and the field had it's first game (the one mentioned) on the 20th....

Yikes, I guess we are collecting a bit of the same things sometimes, Gary. And I especially liked this postcard as it was the first time I had seen that pose outside of this schedule card...
