Default Help with vintage locket and fob

Does anyone have any information or knowledge about the attached fob and locket? Are the people in the pictures players? Any help or information about this piece would be appreciated.

Default Fob

Not sure on the photographs, but the C on the locket has the look of the University of Chicago.
