Default my wish

Since i can no longer attend shows, I simply wish that ALL my Net 54 friends have a wonderful time and find items to add to their collections as well as those setting up have an excellent show.
Think of me during the show, as I'll be there in spirit.
Your Friend,
Bill Hedin

I wish I could be there to look for Bond Bread Jackie Robinson's... I'll be flying to the Dominican Republic on the last day of the National, and can't justify such a quick turnaround in flights. =/ I guess there's always next year.

Default If I could be there...

Unfortunately, my wife's family reunion is scheduled for the very same weekend, and you can readily guess which event won the scheduling conflict. If I could go, and finances permitted, I'd be looking for a 1923-24 Exhibit Babe Ruth in any grade; R315 HOF'ers in the gold/yellow stock (far rarer than the usual black and white stock) other than Foxx, who I already have in SGC ExMt; a 1928 Exhibit Gehrig (love the follow-through pose, as you can just imagine Larrupin' Lou has just lashed one deep, up the alley) and/or an affordable 1907 Wolverine News Cobb (portrait). While it's gotten smaller with the development of the internet, the National is still a great place to go to find such things!

Happy hunting to all who are going!

Larry

I may or may not be going. But if I do, I'll be looking for

1. R306 Butter Creams
2. 1959 Topps low grade (commons, semi-stars, stars, high numbers, etc.)
3. Maybe some cool low grade stuff

Default wants

Do not want to be redundant, but Larry and I should compare notes:

(ANY condition will do!)
1923-24 Exhibit Ruth to finish the set
1926 Exhibits
1931-32 Exhibits
1933 Exhibits
1926-29 Exhibits (silhouette version or the 4 in 1s)
R315s
E90-1 Gibson back view (to finish the set)
E120 -Series of 80
T202s - 3 to finish the set
Wrappers I need, naturally

Luckily, I live close enough to fall out of bed and be at the National. Have a great time and try to enjoy one of the best cities on the planet.

I will not be attending for the whole show this yr but as you know I will be carrying a list with me. I made some nice finds and buys last yr for a few board members that weren't able to make it. I plan on trying to do the same this yr. Best wishes.

I will be looking for uncancelled 1933 George C Millers. I am about halfway through the set so I am looking to pick up what I can afford while i'm there. I will be there with a couple of buddies for the whole week so I'm sure my focus will wander and I will pick up a few other things as well.

Probably looking for some 48 Leaf singles and lots and maybe some Cobb beaters. Also will keep my eyes open for any other interesting early 20th century starter sets that I could spend 2012 finishing up.

On the modern side, will be looking for some high-end parallels and insert RCs of Brian McCann and Joe Mauer, as well as some PSA-slabbed 9s and 10s from '91 Desert Shield (thinking about completing that set).
