Default Remembering a Hall of Famer

I had the opportunity to read Fleitz's "Ghosts in the Gallery at Cooperstown" this past winter. I had known that Elmer Flick was from the Cleveland area but was not aware that he was burried in a cemetery three miles from my house. I had a little free time this morning so I visited the cemetery, paid my respects, and took a couple pictures to share.

Wow . . . Both he and his wife lived 95 years each. That's pretty remarkable.

I had the same opportunity to visit Cy Young's grave about 10 minutes away from my house. I wish I would have, as I have moved away now. I will visit my friends back in my old town in late July, and I may try to get out there and finally visit the Cy.

Just received this one yesterday. Easily the best SGC 50/VGEX/4 I own. I think there is a smudge on the back that brought this one down from a 60 to a 50...
