Default Scary

These #'s are scary, in terms of the "value" of baseball cards, granted much of these are newer cards....That said, this is just for registered beckett users...

Beckett Collector Community Stats
Total Cards in Organize: 267,388,877
Total Collections: 2,440,550
New Cards Added This Week: 948,458

Those numbers surprise you guys? Most of those collections are 99% filled with stuff that the average person reading this post has little to no interest in.

Or, at the very least, the vast majority of those collections do not include anything that would be called "vintage".

i realize that cards from 80s onward were WAY mass produced, but 200+ million with a couple MILLION collections? And this is JUST beckett subscribers...Even if 1% of that is vintage that's still a bunch of these cards out there....
