Default What was Topps thinking?

This is unreal. Who decided this was an authentic Hank Greenberg(the baseball players) sig?

I don't know anything about autos, but by doing a quick online search I could see instantly what you are talking about. That looks nothing like a single Greenberg Auto I saw.

That one is a bad joke.
Does Topps believe in authenticity or do they just throw any sh-- into a pack and label it as a HOF autograph?
And some idiot paid $600 for it??

Wow...Greenberg had a beautiful signature, that looks like something I'd do with my left hand (I'm right handed).

This is from a $27,000 product too.

Have to admit though that when I first saw it, I thought it could've been an early auto.

Topps Dynasty isn't a $27,000 product. That was transcendent. Either way there should be better oversight.

Thats even worse (that its from the priciest $27,000 product). You can find an authentic Greenberg auto for under $50...boggles my mind

That is an authentic Hank Greenbergo. You just can't see the tail end of the sig.

This is ridiculous! I used to have confidence when buying cut signatures that were issued by these card companies (especially Topps) but now I see that it's just as bad as buying them from any other Tom/Dick/Harry dealer. Buyer must always beware (even with certain holograms).

I can't believe they couldn't just do a quick comparison online to see if it was even close. I know they churn out thousands of these, but still....it just takes a few seconds to check. Somebody needs to get fired.
