For anyone who is messing around on net54 thinking there is nothing to watch, there is a little thing going on in the giants padres game you might want to follow. Bumgarner perfect through 7.

Default Sorry Brad

....well I guess you jinxed him after all

This is why perfect games/no hitters or even shutouts in today's baseball is so hard. Bad hitters like Melvin Upton are still great athletes and any swinging bat is dangerous.

And the hit came on Bumgarners 99th or100th pitch Dear lord, we all know that's too many

Great game nonetheless

You NEVER, NEVER, NEVER mention a no-hitter/perfect game while it is still going on!! After about five innings, all the other players will move away from the pitcher on the bench.

An absolute baseball law!!

Desiderata

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Strive to be happy.
