Default Photos are important!

For all your newbie ebay sellers, take a little extra time and post good photos. I was able to buy this PSA 3 T206 Speaker for about $100 under market because the photos weren't good and other cards got the bids this one would have received. Took a chance because seller had "good coloring" in title, but you'd never know it from his photo. Check out before and after pics.

And your scanner doesn't have a CCD element, so if you sold it, you'd get less than the next guy would probably. You can tell the colors are nice though.

Whenever I see a low res, fuzzy, or odd angle photo on eBay, I assume the seller is intentionally hiding / attempting to minimize flaws.

I thought this was obvious.
It's selling 101 for anything, not just T206's

Sorry, but both the pic and the scan look terrible to me. Nice card though!

Lol Dan you're right. After I posted this, I realized my scanner (Epson XP-410) could use an upgrade and just bought a canon with CCD (thanks to some recommendations). So it took a post on the importance of good pics to get me to upgrade to good pics.

p.s. this was my first T206 purchase in over 10 years and I think one of the best of the set! The greatest CF all time - The Grey Eagle!

Night and Day difference with a new Canon scanner 9000F vs. all in one Epson xp410.

Buy the card, not the scanner.

I posted this card in the pickups thread, but the first pic is the one which was shown in the eBay listing. The second pic is one I found from a prior auction listing where the exact card was sold. When I saw the pic from the earlier listing, I felt more confident bidding on it. I felt like I got it cheaper because of the crappy picture in the listing.
