Default Did this person waste $200 or not?

Was wondering if you guys think any of the cards in the auction were authentic. The plaquard says "Tobacco Reprints" but any chance some of the cards were original especially the Mathewson? Apparently someone thought so. What say you?

Pat- I think all the T206s are reproductions. The Matty, though, is intriguing. It does appear that possibly it might be real although why someone would put a 3-5k card with a bunch of reprints makes no sense so the Matty is probably a reprint too.

It looks like the metal plate actually is stamped "reprints" when you enlarge the photo. The seller stated that he is no expert so I'll have to assume he can't read either.

Default Thank You

Thank you everyone for your opinions. I did not bid on the item but did have it on my watchlist...I was 99% sure the T206 cards were reprints (as the plaque said) but since the Mathewson is an E candy card just b/c the display says something doesn't mean that someone couldn't have put an original in the display. I thought there was an outside possibility this was the case with the Mathewson. Looking at the Mathewson, the font especially and to some extent the color was not too far off from the real deal...
