Default Coppell or Addison TX post office?

I thought I read about a problem with one of these post offices on this board. A friend of mine had some autographs destined for Panini that never got there -- and I'd like to send him the link so he can contact anyone else with these issues if needed

Thanks!
Rich

I sent a package from Addison to an Eastern state, I forget which one. It never got there and I tracked it to the Coppell main Post Office, where it never left. Coppell is the hub for this area and everything goes through there.....I am sure it has similar percentages of losses as others....Nothing special...

There was a thread on the PSA boards:

Hope this helps!

Edited to fix link.

Default should have remembered

I should have remembered the story. I was only remembering my personal experience.

I had a package sent Priority Mail take a little over a month to arrive. Where the package got lost?? Coppell TX. I received a couple of calls from the Postal Inspector in the interim and once after I got my package. I am not sure what they suspected, but I suspect a memorabilia theif working at the plant. I did get my package eventually, but I think it was because some heat was applied to someones rear end.....
