Anyone else notice that you can no longer search by item through past auctions at Lelands? I loved that function, and it definately took me to their site more often. Of the larger houses, only REA and Hunt still offer this capability. Sorry for the rant, but I'm bumbed.

The revised website has a link to past auctions, but now only lists Dec 2007. Perhaps it's just a mistake when the website was revamped? Have you written Lelands?

Mike I used it to find some figural pieces for Mark and the next day it was gone. I'm kinda bummed out too as it was one of the more helpful features available. Maybe Josh can get it back up for us.

There is a least one good change on the Lelands site. The search function now defaults to "title and description" which is how I always search. I wish ebay could give me that option to set as a default for my searches.

Big loss, if that function does not return... I used it weekly, and would miss it. It was a great reference tool. Hope they can somehow retrieve all those past auctions, as they really went waaaaay back.

Clint - thanks for sending me that figural info, just unsder the wire!

On a separate note... does anyone here subscribe to Grey Flannel Auctions? I must have gotten 100 emails from them this week, informing me that I was the high bidder on some past auctions from 5 years ago. This included stuff I had bid on in the past, as well as lots I had never seen before. Talk about a "glitch" in the system...

Mark I'll send you en email I received from Grey Flannel as it's too lengthy to post here. In short they had a computer glitch with new software.

The search feature is coming back. We are moving the entire site over to a new auction provider and it is kind of a slow process as there is a ton of information and they have to format the new site to fit the old.

Everything should be back to normal in a few weeks. There are some other features that are not working right now too like the ability to view past invoices, however all of that will be fixed in the very near future.
