Default I know it's not baseball, but I need help with a possible Tiger signature

I recently picked up a poster that was signed by quite a few golfers in 2000 and one particular auto I can't make of...It has all the characteristics of a Tiger Woods auto, but seems to be rushed through...

Please let me know your thoughts.

No opinion on the auto, but as far as i know this board is for all sports so no reason to apologize

glancing at the auto for a bit, it does look a bit like a rushed Tiger sig, especially his early 21st century auto.

It's correct that this section of net54 is for all sports. It's just that baseball topics are most common.

IMHO this is not Tiger Woods' autograph.
As to who it might be, I'm not sure.
I've gotten Woods to sign about 3 times and none of my 3 sigs look like this one, FWIW.

From the beginning I didn't think it was a Woods, but I can't see anyone else and small characteristics keep taking me back to Tiger.

1. The beginning of the signature have the loop
2. Dot of the i is in correct place in beginning of signature
3. Hard to tell from pic, but 2 loops for W and W loops around (only golfer I have seen doing that in research)
4. Has what looks to be the D then run off like most (cleaner) looking Tiger signatures.

So many golf pro signatures to look at...

That looks like th "short version" tiger auto... A lot of modern guys are doing shorthand versions on their auto now, which is somewhat absurd.

Terrell Owens has a "T.O 81" signature which is just awful.

But this does look like many of the TWds versions I've seen tiger sign... Though clearly less desirable than the signature he actually signs a check with.

Remember that this piece was signed in 2000 which was pretty early in Tiger's career. I got his signature twice during this era and neither sig looks like this one...

That's true, I don't know when tiger developed his new fast version, but this does look a lot like that, so if this happened as a forgery, before tiger invented the short version, then the forger should also be a fortune teller!

This is a ball that was signed in Las Vegas, 12/14/96 at the opening of the All Star Cafe on Las Vegas Blvd. Sorry about the bad pic, can't seem to get pics of baseballs very well. If anyone has tips on photographing baseballs, I would appreciate the help
Thanks

Joe

Here is a very rushed version of Tiger Woods auto. That is Jack Nicklaus on the brim and Tiger on the top left. I THINK this version of Tiger's auto looks an awful lot like yours. You can make up your mind by i think they look a like.

This hat is JSA certed....

To me, the formation of the "T" looks totally different in that the print example shown above has a huge loop in it, which is different that the examples shown above and the ones that I obtained in person.

Here is a 2000 Tiger signature that I personally obtained at the 100th US Open in 2000 at Pebble Beach.

You be the judge...

I may have forgot to mention this, but the poster is from 2000...I am not sure exactly when all of the signatures were collected.

It looks like it the real deal (fast signature) after comparing to others on here....I am going to put a nice frame on it and send it over to get authenticated. I'll be sure to update once I hear back.

Thanks again for your help.

I would suggest getting it authenticated before you frame the piece. It's more difficult after it is framed. They might not even do it.

Does anyone know if Spence will charge the fee based on highest priced auto (Tiger) on this poster or try to charge be for all the signatures?

Scott's is dead on from 2000....

@jgmp your Tiger will likely not pass JSA (or PSA).

You will probably have an EASIER time through the frame.

JSA has confirmed they authenticate through frames, and psa has done so in the past too.

How would you know it will likely not pass jsa or psa? Trying to figure out what they will pass or not is impossible.

Why was this comment necessary? This is why I'm voting for a separate auto thread. This conversation was just fine until you had to being your person agenda into it.

The posted was not necessarily signed by Tiger in 2000...that is just when the poster was made. It is identical to the other examples on here of the Tiger "Quick Sig". Gotta believe it will pass.
