I hope Marco sticks with this show. If so, will I see you at OAKS....November 9th - 11th ?

Hey guys, I have set up at all of Marco's three shows at Oaks. And, all 3 have been good shows for me (selling, buying, and trading).
Certainly better than when I used to do Hunt's show in Valley Forge.

Sure, it would be nice if more collectors would attend. But, one factor is for sure, there are more dealers with vintage stuff at Oaks
than at Hunt's show.

Here are some of the well-known dealers that have set up at the Oaks Shows......

Dan McKee
John "Wonkaticket"
Levi Bleam (707 Sportscards)
Ken Cohen
William Chappell
Todd Marcum

Default i hope he sticks with it too

He needed more advertising in the Reading and Allentown areas, both have rather decent size collecting communities. I have seen 0 ads in the reading area. This is only about a half hour to 45 minutes from the show. I am also pretty sure the local card stores would put out fliers for Marco and the Reading paper is cheap for advertising, Allentown is rather expensive though.
If there is a show Ill be there as a buyer.

Oaks area is my old neck of the woods. My dad was a principal in the Spring Ford School District until he passed away in 2003.

If the show is happening, I'll try to schedule a trip home that weekend and bring my brother along, too. (anyone here fly fish? he does custom rods)

Gonna have to disagree with you on that Ted. I don't really look forward to the Philly show the way I use to (even when it was in Reading), but I still think Hunt's show has a better selection of vintage.

For me I'm with Ted on this the last Oaks show was the first show I bought cards at in forever. There was a huge selection of vintage. Enough for me to buy quite a bit.....that has hardly ever happened at Hunt for me.

Cheers,

John
