OT - eBay Rant: When Sellers Lie About An Offer
I am fuming and it's really no big deal but it's so annoying I thought maybe other people have been in the same situation and can relate. A guy is selling an item on eBay that failed to sell for it's opening price and was listed with a reserve. It also had a BIN attached to it for $200.
So I contacted the seller after the auction ended and offered him $150, which was halfway between his opening price and his BIN of $200. I figured his BIN was most likely his reserve. The guy messages me back saying "I've already turned down an offer of $500." What?!
