Default SGC Card Verification

Hi,

Can anyone give me the link or show me where I can verify an SGC-graded card by entering the number in the case?

Thanks,
Eric

Sorry, but I believe that the SGC registry does not have the capability of searching an individual card by its cert. number (at this time). Supposedly they are overhauling their registry website, and hopefully this will be one of the upgrades that they will make to it.

That would explain it; thanks for your help.

SGC is also not updating their pop reports. I wouldn't expect to see an overhaul "soon" (or ever).

Wow, I did not know that. Hopefully they are not in financial trouble.

I thought the way to verify SGC Cert was to create a registry for that card and then add that card to your registry. If you could add it properly, the cert was verified.

Default verification

FYI--When I tried to verify a Ty Cobb I was interested in buying as I have done with PSA graded cards I couldn't locate a process on their website.
I called them and was advised they don't have a on-line verification service.
They did verify the card over the phone--

I created a blank (testing) registry entry that I use to enter the cert # and see what comes up. Works well.
