Wow Daryle. That T3 is just great looking. Looks like you and I both did very well with Dan K's latest BST sale. I grabbed the Cobb Green and couldn't be happier with it. I hadn't seen a scan of the T3, and now that I do ... wow.

Thanks Joann,

Dan and I stayed on the phone for nearly two hours and ended up with a deal that landed me both of those cards. I sacrificed a "goodie" but I feel it was worth it. We were both happy in the end and thats what counts.
I always wanted a T3 Cobb but I always ended up buying something else when I had the cash to get one and couldn't find one that was eye-pleasing in my price range.

That Green Cobb you picked up is nice as well.

Can't go wrong with Cobby

Not December pickups, but just back from SGC - more brownies, some harder than others.

Matt, I wouldn't be surprised if that sign was rediscovered during demolition, beneath a South End brownstone's old facade. In the 70's, there was a large old "Wild West Show" poster found on an inside wall of a rehabbed Dorchester triple-decker in this manner, that sold for a couple of grand.
We Bostonians have been thinking green for centuries and can be quite, ummm... Frugal, I believe the word is wink.gif

My question to you is. Was this THE food for the family dog in the 1900's?

that is one of my favorite T206s. At the heighth of Jordanmania I traded a dealer a copy of the Michael Jordan First SI Cover (NC with Sam Perkins) for that same Lajoie. It now resides in VGEX holder and I hope he has enjoyed his magazine.

Please note that the breed of dog pictured for the Dog Bread is most appropiately a Boston Terrier.

Holy Cow. It never dawned on me until seeing Jeff's PC that the Yanks had 10 HOFer's on that team. (I could be off due to quick count...)

This begs the question which team in MLB history and what year had the most HOFer's on it ? This team has to be tops...

WOW - Cool PC

...no clue about the grade. Has a near mint front with no creases and clean back with two tiny hinge marks from a scrapbook. This is now my favorite card in my entire collection.

Scott D.,
Nothing meager about 2 tough e90-1s. I've always wondered how O'Connor got into the set anyway. With the two poses of Gibson, he makes three cards of Pirate catchers. Weird.
