Default Huggins Winnings

How did everyone do last night? I was the underbidder on the 19th century group with the Spotted Tie Orr. If the winning bidder is here I’m interested in the John Johnson for my Columbus collection and even the Orr to add to my Orr collection.

It’s been a while since I’ve been here. Took a bit of a break after National, but now I’m back!!

I got the group with the Goslin rookie V61 Type II, E135 Joe Judge and V100 Bucky Harris. All 3 are new type cards for me.

Was also the under-bidder on several other lots, and in retrospect, should have tried harder for that Red Cobb SGC 20. It was a good deal.

I hear you. I usually don't bid at top of value but did in this case. I'd argue it's his greatest card, in terms of image and very hard to find one in better shape...

Very hard to find. I saw this in person at Long Island show and it is a sweet card.

( I don't know why some of these AHs don't take credit cards and just tack on 2%. Honestly, if I could have thrown this on a cc you may have lost it. Sometime you just don't have the cash and want to opt for lay a way.)

With the right references, I would have vouched for you, just about any auction house would give you credit/layaway for a month or so (just like a CC). You just have to ask. I guarantee they want you to spend more money.

Huggins & Scott Auctions actually does accept Paypal, and adds a 3.1% fee.

Also, don't forget to "go green" and opt out of the catalog for a $10 credit.

I got bageled this time around. Was interested in four lots but all four had big final hours bidding and I didn't need to stick around after that.

Just got a memo that Paypal raised their rates and it's now a 3.3% fee.

Default WG& Walter Mails Game

Not sure why this weird-looking set appeals to me so much, but it's mine now-
