I recently scanned many of my prewar baseball cards; they can be seen at the link below on Flickr. If you click on the icon for each set it will take you inside the set. You can then click on "slideshow" or "detail" to see each of the cards. I've yet to scan full vintage sets or my 50s, 60s, basketball, boxing, etc. cards but you get the idea.

Jeff...

awesome!

The Cobby and Chase collections are incredible.

Love the Paige Bowman - just a beautiful card.

I am happy to see the lack of honus-interest.

when can I go shopping at that site? I see some cards I want (and some I want back).

I notice there's no "Rare Ultra High Grade" section.

Maybe someday, Jeffs?

Not to hijack a thread, but this Hal Chase caught my eye. Did SGC's grading standards change at some point regarding hand cut cards? I assumed the Matty was given an A because the border was trimmed completely off, but I see no difference between the two.

Jeff, great cards by the way...it's great to finally get to see them all together.

Jeff:

Very nice!!! I wouldn't mind having the W600 Mordecai Brown if you get tired of owning it.

Thank God you don't have much 19th century stuff or I'd be really jealous!

Guys, thanks for the comments and for looking.

Joe, I'm sure looking at some of the cards gave you a mixed feeling of pride and guilt. You know what I need.

As for the Babe and Wagner...had a 33 Goudey Ruth in high grade...but it just seemed too common. I just haven't been able to get into him -- perhaps he just wasn't as twsited as Cobb and Chase for my liking. As for Wagner, if you knew how close I was to having the ultimate Wagner you'd be sad for me. Good thing it's value has only gone up it has made me feel even better about passing on it.
